‘Maledicte’, a track from VORKREIST’s upcoming fourth album "Sigil Whore Christ", is streaming now at this location. Here’s a statement from drummer Rhett Davis regarding the return of MORGION‘s scheduled return at this year’s Maryland Death Fest: "It is with great regret that I must inform you all that MORGION must postpone our performance at this year’s Maryland Death Fest, on Friday May 25th. Jeremy (Peto – bass / vocals) recently sustained a quite serious neck & back injury, serious enough to where he must undergo surgery and months of physical therapy. Needless to say we are all very concerned for his health and well-being, we must ask you to be patient with us just a lil’ bit longer! On the positive, we have our "Rabid Decay" demo, "Live Rehearsal" demo and "Travesty" 7"EP re-released on a CD called "God Of Death & Decay" on Dark Descent Records, as well as the double gatefold Solinari vinyl release on Parasitic Records due before MDF! Singapore’s DEMISOR have signed a deal with Pulverised Records. The band was founded in 1987 and ever since released the "Mestectomy" demo in 1990 and the "Oral Climax" demo in 1992 as well as several split albums. They are currently working on brand new material for an upcoming as-yet-untitled EP, which will be released later this year. Florida’s MASSACRE have signed a deal with Century Media. The band’s line-up consists of original band members Rick Rozz (guitar) and Terry Butler (bass) as well as Ed Webb (ex – DIABOLIC, also in DESTINED TO RUIN and GENERICHRIST) on vocals and Mike Mazzonetto (ex – PAIN PRINCIPLE) on drums. 2 new songs (‘Back From Beyond’ and ‘Succumb To Rapture’) have already been recorded at CGM Studios in Florida and will be released as a 7” in August 2012 when MASSACRE will play at the Wacken Open Air in Germany (followed by more shows to be announced soon). Rick Rozz: “I am overwhelmed, and overly flattered, for this great honor in this day and age, of being part of the Century Media Family. I remember touring with Robert Kampf and his band DESPAIR back in the late 1980s, on tour with DEATH, when he was first starting Century Media… and now we are on the same team 25 years later. After so many years gone by it is great to be working with Terry again and our former DEATH manager Eric Greif, as well as getting to write and record with Ed Webb and Mike Mazzonetto. Norwegian experimental Black Metal band, MESOPOTAMIA, who recently signed to Abyss Records, has posted a pre-production demo of the song ‘The Summoning Of Erra’ from their forthcoming debut album at www.reverbnation.com/mesopotamia. The band will enter the studio in the early Spring to record the album, which is set to be released later this year. Swedish Death Metallers FETUS STENCH have released another new song from their upcoming album "Stillbirth", entitled ‘Stillborn Son’ at this location. The album is scheduled for a Summer 2012 release via Abyss Records. On April 30, 2012, FETUS STENCH will be celebrating the release of "Stillbirth" with a release party at Metal Club in Karlstad, Sweden. VOMITORY is also scheduled to appear. Belgium’s blackened Death Metallers EMPTINESS (featuring members of ENTHRONED) will be releasing their third full length album "Error" via Dark Descent Records on May 22, 2012. INCANTATION have issued a number of statements regarding their upcoming new album and the unfortunate passing of former bass player, Joey "Fingers" Lombard… John McEntee: "We are currently working on our new album, which we have about 80% finished. Kyle, Chuck, Alex and I have killer songwriting chemistry and there is such a high quality of musicianship. Poland’s Grindcore squad ANTIGAMA a currently recording a new MCD entitled "Stop The Chaos". The mastering and mixing will be handled by the band’s longtime friend and producer Szymon Czech (NYIA, THIRD DEGREE) and the MCD is scheduled to be released in May via Selfmadegod Records. Chaos Records have signed Mexico City’s THE SUFFERING for the release of their debut full-length later this year. The band was formed at the end of 1996, features ex and current members of CENOTAPH and DENIAL and released a self-titled demo in October of 1998 via Vision D Records.
In April 2012 Mexico’s INFINITUM OBSCURE will be touring European for the first time ever since the band’s inception 12 years ago. The tour also features Greek DEAD CONGREGATION and will run across five European countries (Germany, Denmark, Netherlands, Belgium and Poland) for a total of seven shows. In about three months Chaos Records in cooperation with Dark Blasphemies Records will release a compilation CD of UNCONSECRATED entitled "Awakening In The Cemetery Grave" that contains all tracks the band ever recorded so far. The entire material was remastered in Germany last year and the CD will feature a 16 pages boooklet, an additional intro (taken from the movie "The Omen") and a new cover design by Daniel Devilish. Norway’s CHTON have finished a new full length entitled "The Devil Builds" and are currently looking for a label to release it. The album was recorded and produced at Morningstar Studio with Arnt Obsidian Grønbech (KEEP OF KALESSIN, SATYRICON) and mixed by Stamos Koliousis (DJERV, MENCEA) at 2010 Studio in Berlin. Lead guitarist and founding member Øyvind commented: "CHTON is very exited to return to the stage with full force, and we’re working on a tour that will bring our rotten blasphemies to places we’ve never been with this band!" CHTON is now a 4-piece as vocalist Terje has chosen to leave the band after the recording of "The Devil Builds". Bassist Ola now handles main vocals. Commented Terje: "After 10 Years as vocalist in CHTON I have decided to leave the band. We are all good friends and the only reason for me leaving is that I wish to move on and do something else. As a last effort in the the band I have done all the main vocals on the forthcoming album "The Devil Builds".
