Michel Jonker of Groningen based, Dutch old school Death Metallers ENTRAPMENT has finished the recordings of the band’s debut full length "The Obscurity Within…". It will be released on October 26, 2012 via Soulseller Records, with artwork created by Mattias Vanhelgd. Polish Black / Death Metallers NEOLITH have just released a new promo entitled "Iter Ad Inferni". New York based Death Metallers DEHUMANIZED have signed a deal with Comatose Music. The band released their debut album "Prophecies Foretold" in 1998 but broke up in 2000. In 2004 they reformed only to break up once again in 2007. Finally in 2011 DEHUMANIZED resurfaced with a solid line-up and new music. In addition, they are performing live again, which has included several large fests. Their new album is entitled "Controlled Elite" and is scheduled to be released on November 27, 2012. It was recorded at Full Force Studio in Long Island, NY and engineered by Joe Cincotta. As a preview of what is to come with the next full-length "Almighty Arcanum", Hells Headbangers will soon release a new DENOUNCEMENT PYRE 7” EP entitled "Darkness Manifest". The EP will feature one album track plus an additional track that is exclusive to this release. Both songs were recorded during different sessions to those for the album, so they are unique to this release and will be released in a limited pressing. The band commented on the release: "Darkness Manifest should be considered as more of a pathway to, rather than a direct preview of, what can be expected with the next full-length. The title track (‘Darkness Manifest’) has been re-recorded during the album recording sessions, so we offer it here as a raw and unhinged version that will provide some insight into the newer material and the direction we are heading. Meanwhile, the B-side (‘Eleven Gates’) is the most obscure track that we have ever recorded with DENOUNCEMENT PYRE and one we felt worthy of inclusion for this release. Before we plunge with full force into the "Almighty Arcanum", we must set the tone with "Darkness Manifest". Beware the shadows… more to be revealed soon!" Abyss Records have signed Swedish Black Metallers ASTROPHOBOS for the release of the band’s forthcoming debut full-length. It features the band’s demos "Unearthed" (1996), "Vile-ation" (1997), "Relapse" (1999) and "New Age Of Chaos" (2004), as well as live performances from 1999 and 2004. The entire material was remastered by guitar player Colin Davis at Imperial Mastering. It is a worldwide limited release to 500 copies only.

After an 18-year break Finnish Death Metallers CONVULSE have returned and already played a few comeback shows in Finland this year. The band has also been confirmed to play Maryland Deathfest 2013, with more live appearances in the works for the near future. A new CONVULSE vinyl EP, with two brand-new tracks, is scheduled for a November release, and a new full-length album can be expected in 2013. The band has signed to Svart Records, who will handle both the EP and the album worldwide. "Our new material has a strong old school Death Metal feel to it, and the band is tighter than ever before", says lead guitarist / vocalist Rami Jämsä. Costa Rica’s Death Metallers INSEPULTO have inked a distribution deal with Wydawnictwo Psycho Records from Poland (www.wydawnictwopsycho.com). The label will release a CD version of the band’s “Morbid Spawn of Resurrection” debut exclusively for Europe.
