This year’s GOTHENBURG DEATHFEST will take place on October 5, 2013 in Gothenburg, Sweden. The two final bands to complete this year’s line-up are DEUS OTIOSUS from Denmark and ONICECTOMY from Italy. Danish Death Metallers DEUS OTIOSUS have made their one and only demo "Death Lives Again" from 2007 available for free download at this location. The demo was created in 2005 – 2007 when DEUS OTIOSUS was still a studio project for Anders Bo Rasmussen and Henrik Engkjær. The latter also played in VICTIMIZER and CHURCH BIZARRE during those days. The drums were played by Lars Groth who was then active in CRUCIFIX – a Death Metal band that played a lot faster than DEUS OTIOSUS. French Death / Black Metallers TEMPLE OF BAAL will release their 4th full-length "Verses Of Fire" on October 22, 2013 in Europe and November 12, 2013 in North America via Agonia Records. The album has been produced by Andrew Guillotin in Hybreed Studios and it will be available as digipak CD, limited double LP and extra limited gold LP (66 copies only). The band commented: "We’ve always seen Black Metal as the sacred music of the "other side", and this album is sacred to its very core. All its music and lyrics have been created after long hours of meditation and spiritual works.
