Italy’s blackened Doom Metallers FORGOTTEN TOMB have released a live album, which can be downloaded for free at their bandcamp site. It was recorded at the Kings Of Black Metal Festival in Germany in 2012 and features the following tracks: ‘Intro (Springtime Depression)’, ‘Reject Existence’, ‘Shutter’, ‘Solitude Ways’, ‘Todestrieb’, ‘Spectres Over Venice’ and ‘Disheartenment / Alone / Steal My Corpse’ (medley). The recordings have been professionally mixed and come from FORGOTTEN TOMB’s upcoming new DVD "Darkness In Stereo: Eine Symphonie Des Todes – Live in Germany", which additionally offers a full video of the concert, as well as excerpts filmed at the Under The Black Sun Festival and the K17 Club in Berlin in 2012. Shadow Kingdom Records will release a compilation CD from Chicago’s TERMINAL DEATH on July 08, 2014. It features the band’s 1985 demo, as well as rehearsals from December 11, 1985 and April 19, 1986. The vinyl edition will be released by Hells Headbangers Records. Shadow Kingdom Records owner Tim McGrogan commented the upcoming release like this: "When you talk about the earliest Death Metal bands, we think of SEPULTURA, DEATH, POSSESSED (all stemming from VENOM) right off the top, but there were a few ripping bands that quickly fell into obscurity and TERMINAL DEATH is one of those bands. EXCITER guitarist and founding member, John Ricci, has issued the following official statement: "Great news to all EXCITER fans worldwide, myself and original members Dan Beehler and Allan Johnson have officially re-united! We intend performing our bone crushing neck-snapping Speed Metal in as many countries that will have us! To celebrate our long anticipated reunion our first confirmed gig will be at the Keep It True festival in Lauda-Konigshofen, Germany, on April 24, 2015. We hope to see you there! Our performance will consist of all the classics that established EXCITER as one of the pioneers of Speed and Thrash. New material and a new release will eventually follow. I also want to comment on my so-called "retirement" which was posted on various sites on February 24 by the former EXCITER members. I just want to say I never said I was going to retire. In my opinion this retirement announcement was fabricated exaggeration. What I did say is that "I need a break from music" due to some rebellious behaviour from one of the musicians in the band. So at this point all that bs is behind me and I am now focusing on delivering some new ear splitting brain rattling METAL with Dan and Allan! SARCÓFAGO‘s second album "Rotting" will be re-released on vinyl on May 27, 2014 through Greyhaze Records. It has been remastered and will be housed in a deluxe gatefold jacket, which will feature the original artwork, including a full-color gatefold insert. It will be available in two vinyl colors: black and limited green with black smoke. A CD / DVD digipak edition of the release is currently in the works as well. Norwegian Black Metallers DEN SAAKALDTE will release their new album "Kapittel II: Faen I Helvete" on May 27, 2014 (Europe) / June 10, 2014 (North America) via Agonia Records. It was recorded at Strand Studio in February 2014 and the cover artwork was created by Trine + Kim Design Studio (ULVER, MAYHEM, DARKTHRONE, DHG). The band’s line-up features members of GORGOROTH, 1349, KOLDBRANN and NIDINGR, and FORTÍÐ’s Eldur replaced SHINING’s Niklas on vocals.
