On August 20, 2021 Skol Records will re-release limited expanded CD editions of “Guilty As Sin” and “Terminal Velocity” from Los Angeles based Speed / Heavy Metal five-piece BLOODLUST. Past and current members of the band also played in acts such as ABATTOIR, RUTHLESS and BITCH. Their debut album “Guilty As Sin” came out in 1986 on Metal Blade Records, two years later the band released the “Terminal Velocity” EP. Both re-releases were re-mastered from best existing sources by Bart Gabriel (HEXX, MILITIA, CIRITH UNGOL), include bonus tracks and come with thick booklets with tons of previously unseen photos, lyrics and liner notes, written by members of MEGADETH, DARK ANGEL, BITCH and BODY COUNT. “Guilty As Sin” will include 3 bonus tracks (from the 1987 “Anti-Life” demo) and the “Terminal Velocity” EP will include 5 previously unreleased extra tracks (3 from 1987 and 2 recorded in 2005). On April 30, 2021 Polish Death Metallers TRAUMA will release a new mini album entitled “Acrimony” via Selfmadegod Records on CD and limited CD box. The material was recorded at Traumatic Sound Studio in Elbląg during the same session as “Ominous Black” and produced by Mister and Wiesławscy Bros. Canadian Death Metal trio OBVURT has just released their debut EP “The Beginning” via Brutal Mind. A guitar playthrough video for the song ‘Scars Of War’ demonstrates the accomplished playing of guitarist / vocalist Philippe Drouin, who was forced to learn to play left-handed after an accident in 2016 left him unable to continue picking with his right.
