Back in 1989 guitarist Mika Kyöstilä, together with bassplayer / vocalist Ari “Ave“ Auvinen, formed NYMPHOMANIAC, a precursor to THROMDARR. They went through a line-up change and at first changed their name to NECROBIOSIS and in 1991 to THROMDARR. Their first demo “As A Wind Cries” ended up selling 500 copies. At the end of the millennium, the band signed a contract with Solistitium Records and released their debut album “NorthStorm Arrives” in 1998. This compilation will comprise of the following material. THROMDARR: “As A Wind Cries” (Demo 1992), “Winter Of Flames” (Demo 1993), “Silverthrone” (Demo 1995) and “Winds Of The Fall” (Demo 1997).
