The Swiss Death Metal mongers DARKRISE have already come to the point when their 4th full-length studio album has now been recorded and unleashed – and it’s waiting for its new preys, full of an ever-growing hungriness. Well, despite bringing absolutely nothing new on the table here, this is actually a pretty entertaining slab of modern, progressive, ripping and partly DEICIDE-sque Death Metal (because of the vocal lines mainly). Without any question there’s lotsa instrumental skills and power behind DARKRISE on "Realeyes", the guys quite clearly challenging themselves in every curve and turn that they can make on their fourth record. Headbangable and in-yer-face Death Metal has always fascinated the masses – and whenever there’s even this slightly progressive element involved to it, DARKRISE’s attempt at that particular department shouldn’t do much harm for most of the listeners, I believe. For extreme Metal fans, there’s surely enough of little ear-candies cultivated around this opus as far as the band’s – at places very tricky even, song structures are concerned. I don’t wanna say more but suggest you to check this band and record out. For finding out more info about DARKSIDE, go to: www.darkrise.ch, label: www.greatdanerecs.com
