DEMONIC RAGE
Omen Of Doom

I love Chilean Death Metal, I love DEMONIC RAGE’s debut and I love demo compilations, so this compilation of the band’s early works was truly a must have for me. And the result did absolutely not disappoint me. Although the sound quality varies a lot between the different recordings nothing sounds really bad. This is an historical monument of dark Chilean Death Metal and it’s remarkable that already on their early demo recordings DEMONIC RAGE was able to create such a sinister and utterly dark atmosphere. Five of eight songs of the debut album were old demo songs and so also included and re-released on “Omen Of Doom” (as the original demo versions). That proves the quality of those early compositions because the debut album “Venomous Wine from Putrid Bodies” from 2013 was nothing but a masterpiece of unholy and dark primal Death Metal brutality. So if you like that album you have to buy “Omen Of Doom” at least for nostalgically reasons. But I’m sure you will enjoy that demo recordings as much as I do. www.facebook.com/demonic-rage-166132640124492, www.oldtemple.com
