HIDDEN IN THE FOG
Promo 2001

Their new promo presents the Symphonic Black Metal outfit HIDDEN IN THE FOG in an even better light than their previous CD. The orchestration is far more impressive and the aggressive parts are even more kick ass! Actually, HIDDEN… is one of the rare few demo bands I can listen to over and over again. I’d say that’s a sign for them being ready for higher honour (record deal?). They don’t reach evil coldness of their big influence EMPEROR but I don’t think that this is their aim anyway. Still, after SIRIUS anouncing a change of their style, HIDDEN… is one of the few bands left over that might satisfy the needs of EMPEROR fans world wide without being copycats. This band consists of amazing musicians and highly promising songwriters who never seem to lack good ideas on their way to become masters of atmosphere. Impressive! Once again: go see ’em live! www.hiddeninthefog.de
