Does anybody remember a webzine called “Teufelstomb”? Quite a funky ‘zine actually, run by a bunch of Canadian gay-porn junkies pretending to be ultra-homophobic heterosexuals who managed to create an impressive amount of reviews with a vocabulary strictly limited to the holy trinity of ‘penis’, ‘anal’ and, of course, ‘gay’. The main focus lay on what most would label as Death Metal and their motto read: brutal is not only a way of life, it’s also stupid! If only the guys in INHERIT DISEASE would have paid attention… Obviously they didn’t and thus went to record just another piece of utterly boring and mind-numbing Death Metal that nobody asked for. Each and every note of this lame excuse of an album has been recorded at least 665-times by another hopeless bunch of trailer-park inhabitants that were instantly forgotten as will righteously happen to this one as well. Why do labels such as Unique Leader still get the chance to release completely superfluous records month after month after fucking month although I’m pretty sure that there is absolutely nobody interested or even purchasing? Where is the infamous self-regulating power of the free market when you need it?!? I don’t think the boneheads in INHERIT DISEASE have the answers, since they seem more concerned with vagina-dissections and mental ward gangbangs. Cool stuff, especially for bald-headed thirty-something’s… They really should look for another nice hobby instead of flogging the decaying corpse of Death Metal. www.inheritdisease.com.
