This release is a perfect example why the decline of the Black Metal-scene becomes stronger day by day. This release is, all in all, not bad. But everything here is so perfectly average, be it sound, songstructures or the feeling. There is simply nothing that stands out of the masses. Don’t get me wrong – I am one of the latest persons that needs innovation or techical skills in Black Metal – but at least an album should offer something to me, and this simply cannot because it drowns in its own mediocrity. An intro with the well-known "Hail Satan …" or something passages, followed by songs who tend to change between aggressive and atmospheric passages, actually most times in up- to midtempo – here and there some keyboard-walls and a typical vocalist. The more I listened to this album the more it annoyed me. Recommended only to those who need everything declared as Black Metal. And even though I may be part of this group, I wouldn’t even need this… www.members.tripod.com/khisanth666
