NATIONAL NAPALM SYNDICATE
Resurrection Of The Wicked

Being heavily influenced by the first METALLICA and EXODUS albums, NATIONAL NAPALM SYNDICATE from Finnland was founded in 1986/87 already but split up due to constant fights in 1991.They reunited in 2002. “Resurrection Of The Wicked” turns out to be a Thrash album both old school Death/Thrash fans as well as more modern Thrash followers might consider interesting. A strong, rather modern but surprisingly natural Finnvox mastering turns this album into pure ear candy. Most of the time the compositions are based on tradtitional Thrash riffs but there are strong slow parts with good melodies you’d rather expect from younger bands (or obscure American Metal acts). Everything perfectly blended. Still, listening to a very strong, well balanced album, for me the most traditional track ‘Hell To Pay’ is outstanding. “Resurrection…” definitely catches your attention when played loud but watch out as it doesn’t let you stop headbanging until it’s over – so be careful with the automatic repeat button, hargh! www.nationalnapalmsyndicate.com
