These five Italians show absolutely no mercy to anyone. They slide through musical genres with a sublime arrogance which leaves you face-fucked lying in the ditch. Sticking to the Grindcore commandments the average length of a song is about a minute. Except a song called ‘Memory May Kill the Need’ with an epical length of 2,25 minutes. But because they’re not acceded to write an opera, "Atomoxetine“ turns out to be a medicine which leads, after round about 19 minuets, to a sudden death. Caused by hyperactive bass-lines, a drummer who definitely needs mental help and scrumming guitars which constantly search for the right possibility of attacking you from the behind. “Atomoxetine” starts end ends of cause, fast. But it attempts to guarantee more then just fast mass massacres. Making it possible through Punk Rock drumming parts or breaks and slower sections for example. The very fine coordinated changes providing a vivid and diversified record. However, NEID achive on their ninth release since 2007 to shift the boundaries of many sub-genres utter perfectly. As well as WORMROT like technical tightness, you have the Punk-ish dirt of early INSECT WARFARE combined with a taste of Scandinavian Death and a very sympathetic 80s Hardcore attitude. The record contains a lot alternation and simultaneously won’t loose balance. So it became a fully entertaining piece of art. Extra bonus sympathy points it gets for featuring MILLION DEAD COPS singer Dave Dictor on one song. I recommend this record to everyone who can slide through pissed and brutal sub-genres from Punk to brutal Death Metal.
