Not too much is known about this Polish band, besides that the three members were or are part of another band, DEMONIC SLAUGHTER, that has been around since 2006, so newcomers they are not. Although there are six songs, only actually four are real Metal songs, with an intro and an outro. The band defines themselves as a mid tempo Death / Black Metal band, and I can only agree with that definition. I would say that early INCANTATION, AUTOPSY, early MORBID ANGEL and slower parts early BATHORY can give you and idea of how they play. Their Death Metal sound is actually the more present one, and the four Metal songs presented here are long, all of them around the nine minutes mark. The vocals remind me a lot of bands from the early Florida Death Metal scene, and the production has this demo type sound, still with a very heavy and present guitar sound. And although I think that some faster parts would add more depth to the music, the band is wise enough to play in different mid-tempo zones, trying not to sound too similar, and I can say they are successful in many ways. Yes, at times it’s difficult for me to keep my attention in this type of mostly mid-paced madness, but they are smart enough to keep the riffs moving, with an asphyxiating aura, very few bands can conjure. I would say early PARADISE LOST can also be a reference, although less melodic and more grotesque. The way they repeat riffs, gives this also some type of hypnotic and ritualistic feeling, and fans of doomed Metal will surely find this interesting. My fave song would be the last one, ‘Aether Mysteries In The Dark’, that has probably the fastest parts on the album, showing that a bit of speed changes here and there actually works. I know this type of music is limited and sometimes things sound very similar between songs, but I still enjoy it. Fans of damnation inducing Metal, this is for you. https://fallentemple.bandcamp.com, www.facebook.com/fallentemple666
