‘Vile Evil Rotted Over’, the first new track in eight years from Spanish Death Metallers AVULSED, will be released on February 28, 2023, just to commemorate the first year since Verónica Váquez, the wife of vocalist Dave Rotten, passed away after two years of fighting cancer. The lyrics, as well as the detail on the cover, are a tribute to her. In the meantime AVULSED have almost completed eight new tracks for their next album, but ‘Vile Evil Rotted Over’ will possibly not be included. According to the band it was just recorded to let everyone know that AVULSED is back.
