Survival Mode

I’m really glad that one of Germany’s top-notch Death Metal bands is finally back. After over a decade long hiatus, Death Metal gangsters ANASARCA have returned with one hell of an album. Well, brutal Death Metal today might not be as popular as it was back in the late nineties but "Survival Mode" is somehow a look back to the times when this music was fresh and original. ANASARCA have not repressed their roots and still count on the domination of pure Death Metal ingredients, as if they never went away. Listening to songs like ‘Blue John’ or ‘571’ will underline this assertion. You will not find any dull Deathcore here nor will you be nauseated by crude and gory artwork. The riffing is not very complex but nicely crafted with just the right amount of repetition before moving onto something else. If you like bands such as MALEVOLENT CREATION or MONSTROSITY then this album is made for you.
