As the name implies, this is ancient old school styled Death Metal coming from the crypt… this Chilean band pukes a brutal, yet controlled form of Death Metal that recalls a lot the sound of MORBID ANGEL circa “Altars Of Madness” with a few some chops here and there of evil Thrash à la SLAYER and some slight doomy passages that are akin to ASPHYX. With song titles as ‘Procession To Nyarlathotep’ and ‘Between The Mortuary Remains’ you can give yourself an idea of their lyrical inspiration which comes as a complement to their putrid old school Death Metal sound. For a band formed just one year ago, I am more than impressed and wanting more. It seems Iron Bonehead will be releasing this songs in a pro-tape format (they already have – Frank), and for the dark one’s sake, keep an eye on these guys, another fine example that the breed of Death in Chile is giving the world some of the best band that praise the chalice of mortality. http://ancientcrypts.bandcamp.com, www.mushantufe.com
