If you’re into morbid old school Death Metal with a blackened feel, APOCALYPTIC NECROHOLOCAUST is the answer. Here we have a three-piece band from Chile firmly loyal to the raw Death Metal sound from the late ‘80s and early ‘90s. The production is raw and genuine with a full bodied sound. The main inspirations are for sure the gods of the genre, names like INCANTATION, IMMOLATION, MORPHEUS DESCENDS, DISCIPLES OF MOCKERY and very early DEICIDE and MORBID ANGEL, but with a touch of American Black Metal too, especially evil bands like DEMONCY, VON, IMPURITY and PROFANATICA. The name would fit pretty well with a War Metal band but this is not the case, since we’re in front of a sick and putrid wall of uncompromising and blasphemous Death Metal from South America. The fast sections are very brutal and are perfectly mixed with the ultra guttural and obscure vocals à la Craig Pillard. There are some pretty interesting doomy slowdowns that add a claustrophobic and suffocating touch to the whole structure of the songs. Great job concerning the drumming with tons of blasting madness and double bass bombardments. Another high point are the guitars both for the macabre distortion and the putrid melodies that intoxicate the air and the listener. In conclusion, an EP that has a very demonic and gloomy vibe. The lyrics deal with blasphemy, death, chaos and occult themes. “Every Breath Is Forgotten” has been released by the Mexican label Iron, Blood And Death Corporation and it’s a killer example of old school satanic Death Metal.
