BENOTHING

This one goes out to all of you who think that Finland is the real suburb to hell! BENOTHING hail from Seinäjoki, a town whose name translates as “border river”, just like it is at the border of hell. And the sound this four-piece delivers on the debut EP “Temporal Bliss Surrealms” is pretty much fitting a vision of hell. It’s a Death Metal journey through abysses and chasms of the dark. Lead by breaks and speed changes, BENOTHING take the listener on an obscure ride with neither return nor reversal. Archaic Death beats meet sinister guitars and hoarse growls, based on a raw production directly from the pits of the rehearsal studio. And if this is too strong for you, you’re too weak for Death Metal. At least you weren’t there when Death Metal crawled out from the darkest realms in the early 1990s with bands like AUTOPSY or ASPHYX, just to mention two bands I’d like to refer to here. Anyone who witnessed the old days and remembers with gleams in their eyes will surely have a revival feast with BENOTHING and songs like ‘State of Surreal Bliss’ and the sick final monolith ‘Stasis Hexis’.
