Are they cult or are they not? BEWITCHED from Sweden still are using clichés the 80s way. Considering their age I’d say: they’re not. It’s a cold cup of tea. Considering their music: hell yes! BEWITCHED once again confuse my drawers with great catchy Blackthrash and I can’t help but love it! Songs like ‘Sacrificed In Flames’ or the title track are full of pure energy my neck is begging for a break. After only 33 minutes there would be a chance for the latter if my hand wasn’t reaching for the repeat button automatically. If it goes on like this, I’ll have to retire next year. So would you please buy a whole pile or ‘Rise…’ as I’ll have to sue BEWITCHED for breaking my neck and they’ll need the money ; -) you won’t regret your decision anyway as long as your neck isn’t as fragile as mine. It’s about time I see these guys live!
