Embrace The End

After their debut EP, BLOODSPOT releases their full-length entitled "Embraced The End" via Finest Noise Records from Germany. And it is as surprising as it is new. Their album features a great Death Metal base with tasty Thrash Metal touches here and there. Their songs have that "hook" that most bands lack; a huge plus when it comes down to identifying bands in this already saturated global scene. Production wise, the sound / mix is clear and detailed with and all-around beefy guitar / bass tone, loud drums and a raw vocal attack! It is not hard to find the influences displayed in BLOODSPOT’s brand of Metal, ranging from early BENEDICTION and early AMORPHIS, alas the heavy and pounding slow moments all the way up to DISMEMBER (R.I.P) and MASTER for the speedy mid-paced thrashing. Once again I shall express my enormous dislike of the "old school" tag, but BLOODSPOT’s album is full of that great atmosphere that made the early 90s Death Metal so popular. And now you know, so go ahead and contact the band or the label and get this one. Totally recommended! www.bloodspot-music.de, www.myspace.com/bloodspot, www.finestnoise.de
