BORNHOLM
March For Glory And Revenge

Truly bad albums are made either of a number of ways; either they’re made in bad taste, or they’re made with such poor attention to detail that the only thing one can take from the recording is a headache, or better yet: they’re made with all the above. This album by BORNHOLM is all of the above and beyond. Not only was generic Pagan Black Metal never cool, it’s even less cool now. While it’s nice to see a band that believes in itself, this is inexcusably bland. Audiophiles will balk at the sour Pro Tools production, musicians will snore, and not a soul will feel entertained. Lackluster songwriting does not a successful band make. www.myspace.com/bornholm, www.vicrecords.com
