Blood Harvest has never dissapointed my thirst for new and interesting underground bands and BURIALKULT was not going to be the exception. This Canadian combo offers plain and simple Black Metal in the old DARKTHRONE, CELTIC FROST tradition but with a tasty AURA NOIR feel to it, specially in the thrashier moments. The production fits like a glove with the angry, gloomy and cavernous blackened filth these guys rightfully convey in their compositions. They have that "feel" that is so rare to find in nowadays scene and that being said is good enough for anybody to give this a try. If you are looking for experimentation or technicalities better look elsewhere. BURIALKULT will give it to you black, raw, smelly and desperately old school with no gimmicks.
