Their label introduces this act as Hungarian "Swedish-Metallers". And although the band name would hint at a DISMEMBER-clone, it soon becomes very clear when listening to their second longplayer that the main influence here is AT THE GATES. I can almost hear you yawning now but hold on for a minute, since despite the lack of originality this five-piece definitely got something valuable to offer. Their music combines the straight-forward aggression of "Slaughter Of The Soul" with the feverish atmosphere of "With Fear I Kiss…", all with top-notch-musicianship and a huge amount of enthusiasm, as if they just invented the genre. Plus they’ve got a really thoroughly-arranged and inventive songwriting. And their vocalist simply kills, sounds like the extremely pissed bastard son of Tompa and Martin van Drunen. In other words, AT THE GATES-worship rarely ever sounds this good and if you’re still not completely over-fed with this style you could do much worse than give this a try. www.casketgarden.com
