Formed in Stockholm in 2020, this is the debut album from these Heavy Metal maniacs from Sweden. These kind of bands that are doing a “revival” of old school Metal with touches of early Speed Metal, to this half century Metal avenger maniac, recalls some great memories from those days. Add to that that the band is wise enough to have a very clear and heavy production, but without sounding modern in any way, and this could have been as well released in 1983 and it will fit without problem. As a matter of fact the style of the band for some reason makes them sound like the LA scene in a way that they are a Heavy Metal band, that has touches of Hard Rock and Speed Metal and tons and tons of riffs that are so catchy that if you close your eyes you could imagine yourself traveling Sunset Strip in a convertible with the air in your face and a beer in the hand going to Gazzarri’s for the next gig. Early SAVAGE GRACE style comes to mind more than once with a few older RATT sounds mixed in for balance. I guess newer generations liking bands like ENFORCER will definitely love this band. Once Richard C. from Wild Rags Records told me that he likes when a band sounds streetwise and daring, and that defines this band. The fact that only two Metal maniacs created this is also a thing to take in count. The vocals are nothing out of the ordinary, yet it fits the music quite well, in a way like a band like HEAVY LOAD or MANILLA ROAD does it, melodic yet raw, but it all fits very good. After a few listenings, the great simple riffs and the choruses will stick in your head for banging to them. I am sure these songs would be fantastic to be experienced live. A great surprise and a band I am looking forward to hear more from! More information at: www.facebook.com/centuryswe, www.facebook.com/noremorserecordsgreece
