Another 3-song seven inch from the great Swedish label Blood Harvest Records. It’s hard to believe how many great bands they are picking up recently and CEREMONIAL EXECUTION is by no means an exception. The band was formed back in 2001 and already released a split 7"EP, a demo and planned to release the recording "Death Shall Set Us Free" as their debut CD on some label, but as they got problems with the record-company they decided to make it available as free download on their homepage www.ceremonialexecution.com. Their newest release is this 7"EP called "Black God Rising" offering Death Metal mixing American Death Metal with the good old Swedish one. The 3 songs here are not the usual standard sound you could be expecting and especially the third song ‘The Autopsy Of My Dying Bride’ stands out with its great melodic ending and its overall sound a little bit in the vein of old AUTOPSY back at their "Mental Funeral" – days. I can only tell you if you are a fan of the mentioned music style and love to run each 5 minutes to the turntable you need to buy this cool 7"EP.
