The slogan that has been written on the sleeve of industrial Deathers COUNT NOSFERATU KOMMANDO’s debut CD "No Mercy No Fascism No Respect No Law No Peace No Future" should be completed with the addition "No Talent No Music No Humor". What French Kodiak Records try to promote / sell as the "new extreme sensation" is simply annoying to me. Musically this side-project of the ANOREXIA NERVOSA vocalist mixes the primitive crunch riffs of RAMMSTEIN with some Death Metal elements à la DEICIDE, the aggressiveness of THE HAUNTED and keyboard-stuff like SAMAEL. The vocals consist mostly of distorted screams, but some Glen Benton like growling appears as well. Sounds kinda strange, huh? Indeed it is strange and it is also crap!!! But that is my personal opinion, if I try to be objective I think people that love Electro and Death Metal equally, should get along with "Ultraviolence Über Alles" very well, its production is powerful and punching, there’s enough variation between the songs to keep the album interesting and one can even dance to it, I tried, ha ha!!! No, just kidding, I never dance I just bang! But anyway, "Ultraviolence Über Alles" should turn out a good piece of violent groove in all those Electro / Noise / Industrial / Gothic Club Discos, DJ’s should definitely check it out!!! I do not like it, because I am one of those old school Black & Death Metal maniacs, who hates this kind of "modern" stuff and gives a fuck about samples and keyboards, but I bet my ass that there are people out there who like Electro / Death Metal and exactly to those people I recommend COUNT NOSFERATU KOMMANDO’s CD debut, it might be your new favorite record!!!
