Delirium

How do you feel about crusty Death Metal? Yup, I like it too! DEATHRITE have been around for about a decade now. “Delirium”, their latest output, is out on Into Endless Chaos Records. DEATHRITE have a simple formula, write good quality songs and make sure your output is watertight! “Delirium” is a simple yet an effective release. The guitars don’t stray, the drumming takes the center stage (although the drum tone during the opening of “Delirium” definitely worried me!). I bloody love their interludes, track # 4 ‘From The Edge To The Abyss’, is such an eerie piece of music that sets the stage to the chapter II of the release where the band is more introspective. What we have here are well produced guitars, good drumming and appropriate vocals. Nothing out of the world, nothing insane but just an intense burst of writing that doesn’t disappoint. I really like the second part of the release a lot better, the band seems to have looked within and created a complex atmospheric piece as an appendage to their angst. Track # 4 ‘Someone To Bleed With’ is the perfect example here. On the whole, DEATHRITE’s “Delirium” is a decent release and is a great in-car companion. Being under 25 minutes, it surely needs your attention sooner or later. For more information, please visit www.facebook.com/deathrite666 or www.facebook.com/intoendlesschaos
