Coming from Italy, this is actually the third album of this pure Death / Thrash band, which has a very aggressive approach. Although their sound is based on the heavy weights of the style like SEPULTURA, MALEVOLENT CREATION or SLAYER, the band also mixes a bit of pissed off Hardcore in their music, and a bit of Swedish melodic Death Metal for the right balance. The production is brilliant (the drum sound is just fantastic) and the guitars sound fat as a whale, but at times there is quite too much groove for my taste. Vocally speaking, I like the delivery of Snyder, which reminds me of a less high pitched Tompa. They also have some similarities with land-mates SADIST and DARK LUNACY, and they also share an excellent and very high level of musicians not easily found nowadays. At times, some songs sounded a bit similar to me, but I think that is due to the guitar tone, and the vocal pattern that stays the same most of the time. But even so, there are some great riffs here and there, and fans of the style will do no wrong in checking this album.
