Since the release of "Doom Devilution" in 2014, they released two split records, "The Mourners Bell Chimes For The Devils Reign / The Assassinator Will Fighting For Blood" and "Swedish Luciferi Vol.2". But the inexplicable minds of DEVIL LEE ROT just can’t take any plunge from doomed creations and magically reappeared with a fresh full length, which this time was released in association with Iron, Blood And Death Corporation. This doomed mantra was recorded in Sun-Eater Studio (France) and Hell Down Syndrom Studio (Sweden), where all poems and voices were done by mastermind, DEVIL LEE ROT (Thomas Lee Rofocale). For those who lived under the cave, DEVIL LEE ROT is the band of Thomas Lee Rofocale, the nefarious frontman for AUTOPSY TORMENT, PAGAN RITES and many others sinister underground acts. Following and flaming the old tradition of NWOBHM, these menacing souls from the north, recreated a pure, authentic blackend Heavy Metal sound with the 80s feeling – the spirited and possessive kind you would like to hear more often in the present scene. With music deeply rooted in occult NWOBHM sounds like WITCHFYNDE, CLOVEN HOOF or ANGEL WITCH and vocals like old VENOM or BATHORY in a sedated trance, DEVIL LEE ROT keep delivering their own raw and spirited form of blackend Heavy Metal. Keeping up with their quintessence, "Devil Equinox Ov Doom" is a sort of creation which transcends doom, way more invocative, ceremonial and spiritual devotion for the Sabbath’s gathering beyond the starless sky. Don’t be assured with a typical doomy treatment here, but with this release DEVIL LEE ROT certainly explored and traversed the nameless zones which is purely infectious, evil and celestial.
