DROWNED from Germany are now going Death Metal and as far as I can hear, they’re pretty good at it! The sound of these rehearsals is pretty raw, though: good old DARKTHRONE sound. This makes it a bit hard to say HOW good the band is – especially the vocals are being drowned, harrharr! The songs are VERY old school, almost primitive and even through the crappy non-existent production they sort of make me shake my booty. Bang that fuckin’ head! I think the band still needs to work on the songs a little – maybe some shortening? And it seems the vocals could be better as well.
