Isn’t Black Metal supposed to build up some atmosphere? Well, if you consider boredom as an atmosphere… It’s so hard listening to this album in a row! Are there any interesting songs on "Oris Diabolis"? ‘Black Demon, Shaitan’s Warrior’ makes me think so. For the first five seconds! This song also features one of the the most ridiculous endings in a Metal song ever! Apart from that, I can hardly spot a riff that hasn’t been used by some superfluous Black or even True Metal band. And DUNKELGRAFEN repeat them until you choke. Hey, repetition of a boring riff doesn’t make it any better, guys! Holy cow, how drunk does one have to be to like this? Even though most of the riffs don’t sound new, I can hardly recall a single song (thank Shaitan)! the solid production doesn’t really help me to like this album, either. Completely uninspired, simple as that. DUNKELGRAFEN’s motto seems to be: if we can’t scare you to death, we’ll bore you to death! This is NOT EVIL!! This is Hausfrauen Black Metal!!!
