ELIZABETH
Fragments Of Machines
(self-financed)
19:00min

A new and fresh sounding Thrash Metal machine from Poland, combining the best parts of Bay Area Thrash anno late 80s and start 90s, sporting it full blown as we speak, a fresh breath or old and dusty reruns? Drive, force, power and great and classic Thrash Metal riffing is what the Polish four piece brings us, an intense journey down memory lane with James Hetfield light, meant in a positive way, at the rudder, being lead by the bright riffing and powerful rhythm section, bringing the ship straight ahead, in what should be troublesome water, though ELIZABETH makes their venture seem quite easy and without trouble. I don’t know how many takes on this genre I’ve heard, that have been more boring than, I don’t know what, though these guys brings some energy and freshness to the table, without reinventing the deep plate. The music is intense and gripping, and well-written and delivered, and that is part of why these four tracks make my feet tap, it’s not overdone, and or done sloppy to make it sound old school, it’s updated, without being to excellent, and that works quite well, and exciting band to follow in the future, if good old Thrash makes your head ‘bang, as it does with mine!
