FLESH MADE SIN
The Aftermath Of Amen

Where this band is coming from with their songwriting is a creative place. The problem is execution; it just isn’t the best. However, as I’ve said, the songwriting is top notch, and is probably capable of eclipsing the poor tones. FLESH MADE SIN appear to draw inspiration from three chief sources: DEATH, IMMOLATION and INFERNAL MAJESTY. The songs have the wild pinched notes of IMMOLATION, the choppy riffs of DEATH, and the galloping gaits of INFERNAL MAJESTY. In addition, they’ve also inherited the blasphemous lyrical directions that INFERNAL MAJESTY took during their heyday. Anti-christian sentiment is always a good thing. Metal wouldn’t be Metal without it. All of these things: the music, the lyrics, the speed; all makes for a nice combination. Its abundantly clear that they know what they’re doing. The only problem I can see is the production, a problem that, more or less, mildly plagues many a band. Nothing to worry over. www.myspace.com/fleshmadesin, www.myspace.com/neuroticrecords
