Baaaahhhhh!!! This is crap!!! Imagine the following musical nightmare: an atmospheric Black Metal band decides to mix their gayboardy stuff with some riffs and melodies that might have been stolen from ANATHEMA or MY DYING BRIDE – sounds horrible, huh? To keep it short FOREST STREAM sound like slow DIMMU BORGIR and do not deserve too much attraction. The keyboard parts are so overdone, the short growling parts so lame, the clean vocals sound like DEPECHE MODE only much worse and the guitars drown in a sea of synthesizers. “Tears Of Mortal Solitude” is simply a boring, totally unheavy album, that is an insult on all serious Doom bands. I guess I should have interpreted the word “symphonic” in the label’s info sheet as a warning.
