GENIUS ULTOR is a Black Metal side-project put together by Polish infamous Deathsters STILLBORN, featuring 3 members of the current line-up of the band. Musically the band’s 17-track debut album, "Dzien Nocy" takes slices from early IMPALED NAZARENE and ANGELCORPSE, keeping things securely on the better side of fast-paced, raw and straight forward Black Metal, in which there’s a thin line drawn between some Thrash and Death Metal influences as well. It’s all good by its content; vicious, punishing, violent, in-yer-fuckin’-face – and naturally nothing like highly unique or totally original at all. These 3 wrecked Polish minds are maliciously determined to release their own tiny Armageddon on this record, catapulting tons of desecrated and hotly burning bibles, and pieces of crushed icons on our necks like their ferocious evilness wouldn’t have any boundaries. In fact, thinking more closely obviously it hasn’t either; as so utterly wicked war machine GENIUS ULTOR appears to be. In between the 8 actual songs, they have included war theme type of intros (or outros; it depends on how you see them on this record) that only increase the album’s ultimate purpose to be taken as one hellish promoter of the World War III – and overall supporting shamelessly war mongering best it possibly can. GENIUS ULTOR do kick arse, it’s actually as simple as that but it’s the actual record "Dzien Nocy" that should be credited exclusively for blowing our rears to little, miserable pieces in the end.
