Yes, finally a new sign of life (or death, to be exact…) from Berlin’s finest in terms of US style death metal! Harmony Dies have been around for a while already, sacrificing their efforts for the glory of Suffocation-Style music and “I’ll Be Your Master” is again nothing but a very recommendable item for your brutal collection if you are into the shredding, blasting, not-so-melodic side of things as well. I bet some people might not really get into the crunchy production of this album (well, with a playing time similar to Slayer’s “Reign In Blood” – the album’s last 2 minutes song “Another Song Of Sirens” being an instrumental outro type of idea. I guess it could have been a bit more value the moneys with some playing-time more…) but then again it suits the songwriting pretty well, so!? Songs like the opening title-track, “Inner Pleasure”, “Wated Minds” and “No Longer” should give you a pretty good time if you are willing to support a hard working German act that is in the vein of Suffocation (yeah, it always brings me back to a comparison with the sadly defunct US masters of straight forward total death…), old Cryptopsy, some Deicide riffing and even Cannibal Corpse. Harmony Dies are especially aggressive in a live-situation, so let’s hope that these nice 5-piece will soon manage to destroy some more clubs soon.
