There aren’t many bands who scream forth their blasphemies very convincingly these days. Naturally there are always a few, but they’re few and far between in comparison to the… others. HELLACAUST are not one of those others. “Inevitable Dementia” is a vengeful record somewhat like, but not akin to: DESASTER, URN, and other bands with a blackened edge. HELLACAUST use blast beats far more frequently than either DESASTER or URN, which points to a distinct death metal influence, and who can blame them? Blast beats convey aggression very well indeed. At times the guitar tones are slightly overlapped by the drums, but its a minor flaw, and to some ears may even be an advantage.
