Sometimes it’s a bit sad that some releases don’t come with a cover and especially lyricsheet, as I would have liked to gather a further look on them. The concept of the album seems to present the projection of time as eternity in the cosmos. And while concept and coverartwork (by J.P. Fournier if someone cares…) are very “spacy”, the music on the contrary is very basic and earthy. What we have here is mostly midtempo or partly rather doomish Death / Black Metal or better classical Death Metal. To give just a few names that came to my mind: DARKTHRONE, MORBID ANGEL, CELTIC FROST – perhaps I am wrong here, but these came all over a sudden again and again but nevertheless do not work as comparisons alone but more as examples of how the sum is sounding. I am also quite sure that this album reminds of a demo, but I simply cannot remember which one. This is simply another fact – I would have liked – as a result of its sound etc. – to see this as a demotape. The sound is clear and especially the omnipresent bassguitar is something I adored on this release but the sound is simply nearly too thin. As a demotape this would have been a killer, though I still think that this is worth your attention. For those who stand aside the trodden paths of furious high-speed Black Metal.
