HORDA PROFANA
Beyond The Boundaries Of Death
(Sons Of Hell Prod.)

Is this the dawn of Satan’s millennium? Though we might actually find out by ourselves in a while, here we do have some candidates for the moment’s OST. Munro, Buenos Aires’s HORDA PROFANA’s second full-length album strikes right between the eyes like pure merciless death. Strong pestilent winds are blowing from the 93 directions as the trio celebrates the downfall of mankind in the name of ARCHGOAT, BEHERIT, BESTIAL WARLUST and the likes. The drumming is killer (look out for Funeris’ monstrous 3/4 blast on ‘Absence Of Light’!), the bass and guitars flow out together as one and the production leaves absolutely nothing to imagination. With additional, sumptuous dark synth and spoken word work by Akhtya AKA Michael Ford (BLACK FUNERAL, HEXENTANZ and more) on ‘To Reach Primordial Darkness’, an intro by MELEK-THA’s own Ludo Lejeune and artwork by Alexander Shadrin (ABYSSFIRE, SERPENTRANCE, VHORTHAX), you definitely get enough sombre atom-spheres for your Saturday afternoon beervocations. All in all, there is no need to avoid “Beyond The Boundaries Of Death” (the back cover of the CD lists a total of 8 tracks, but there’s only 7 on the album, so it seems that the final track, ‘A Coldness Curse’, is missing for some strange reason – Frank). Let them fill your cup and make sure you spend some of your precious time on the Sons Of Hell Production page: www.facebook.com/sonsofhellprod or even on the band’s own coven at www.facebook.com/hordaprofana666.
