The musical umbrella of French based label Debemur Morti Productions is not completely limited to one specific style. Nevertheless are all bands followers of the same dark movement. So words like hypnotic, misanthropic or depressive in connection with the terminus Black Metal should be found in nearly all reviews of their releases. INFESTUS are definitely no exception to the rule and their third album is a pitch black soulside journey into the fragments of each existence. The presented songs are offering right from the start a slightly depressive touched Black Metal but in this case the patient isn’t already dead. Translated into common English this means the material is breathing evil and each step through the dark is bringing further emotional eruptions. The concept release is offering a well performed and impressive – at some loose ends even innovative – Black Metal without the necessity that one track need to be specially mentioned here. INFESTUS are maybe not the brightest star on the German nightsky but "ExIst" is working on a less destructive level than their label brothers BLUT AUS NORD.
