KRYPTICY
The Non-Return
(Memento Mori)
35:56min

Hailing from the Spanish town Málaga, KRYPTICY has already been around for more than a decade. A demo EP in digital format from 2014 and an album in 2020 grace the discography of the band until now, as we have their second album “The Non-Return” here. The style of KRYPTICY is Death Metal, quite a bit technical, quite a bit brutal, quite a bit uninspired. From the first riffs of the opening ‘Infected Pharaoh’, the album passes me by without leaving an impression. Of course it’s far from being bad, as KRYPTICY know how to play for sure. It’s just that their riffs are too exchangeable in my ears, just as if I heard all of this before. The songs don’t bug anyone, making “The Non-Return” a good album while doing the dishes or dusting the flat. That’s why I’d like to file KRYPTICY under: Generic Death Metal. www.facebook.com/krypticy, www.facebook.com/memento.mori.label
