NECROHERESY
Divine Betrayal

NECROHERESY deliver exactly what you think of when hearing the band’s name. Progressive Ambient Emocore. Of course not. At large the band, formed 2012 in Bratislava, Slovakia, can be characterized as Black / Thrash Metal. With emphasis on Thrash. Five song (plus intro) filled with lots of galloping early SODOM influenced stuff, but also some fine Death Metal riffs. Furthermore you will find hypnotizing Black Metal like early ENSLAVED. But NECROHERESY are also able to perform hate puking violence and chaos like IMPALED NAZARENE. To top things off, the last song of this EP surprises with Doom / Occult Metal elements. Although I liked the old school influences a lot, for my ears there are just too many influences for five songs. Once again, less is more. On the other hand "Divine Betrayal" is the first official release, so I guess a completely rounded release with perfectly balanced songwriting would be against expectation. All in all a solid base for further activities. www.facebook.com/necroheresy, www.satanath.com
