From this day forward those of you who missed out on the original releases by Sweden’s NECRONY won’t be able to come up with any lame excuses anymore why they don’t have this great stuff in their collection! Germany’s small but fine Poserslaughter Records (who already were responsible for the original CDs) have just come up with a killer, value-for-money re-issue! This single CD features approximately 90 minutes of first class Swedish Death Metal, which means 28 tracks in total! In particular the disc comprises of the "Pathological Performances" full length, the "Necronycism: Distorting The Originals" cover CD, the "Mucu-Purulent Miscarriage" 7" EP and two songs off the "Severe Malignant Pustule" demo. Throughout their (unfortunately) rather shortlived career NECRONY always came up a very cool musical mixture, consisting of the best elements of classic old school SweDeath in the CARNAGE / NIHILIST vein, the raw grinding sickness of the late 80s / early 90s UK Death / Grind scene and delivered the whole coctail with an incredible sheer brutality! All of the songs (including the perfectly executed covers by REPULSION, NAPALM DEATH, CARCASS, BOLT THROWER, CARNAGE and IMPETIGO) already were very intense in their original versions, but the fact that everything on this disc got "remastered" increased the dynamic and crushing power even more! The only little letdown with this whole re-issue is the packaging, which looks rather cheap and more like a promotional copy as opposed to the real deal. A fat booklet and a cool coverart would have been the ultimate to honour the material in the best possible way!
