Well, it’s really hard to write about music I personally do not like, because NIGHTWARD from Italy are not bad musicians, the production is great as well, but fuck, I hate their style – sorry guys. Whoever loves this modern Swedish melodic Death / Thrash à la SOILWORK, DARK TRANQUILLITY and so on and so forth should be pretty happy with “Face The Fall”, because NIGHTWARD have an equal feeling for mixing melodies with aggression. I think this style sucks, so my subjective opinion does not count here, talking as objectively as possible NIGHTWARD are a good modern Death / Thrash band with varied vocals (clean, scream, growl), well-crafted songwriting, surprising breaks and musical variation. What more does a fan of the bands I mentioned above want??? I choose to return to my cave and continue enjoying Metal that is as primitive as Neanderthals without brains.
