I already hate CHILDREN OF BODOM. I can’t see any use in playing dull melodies on two guitars accompanied with a third dull keyboard-melody, with fast drums and a vocalist that is aggressively screaming because he cannot sing. And finally those fucking dumb guitar-solos all over the sudden. I don’t doubt that these guys can play their instruments, and perhaps they are even good song-writers but I think it’s useless. And dull. So guess what I think of a band that sounds EXACTLY like CHILDREN OF BODOM? Even including a fucking 1:1-coverversion of EUROPEs ‘The Final Countdown’ but with heavier sound? Spinefarm has in its history released a couple of brilliant releases but I somehow can’t get rid of the impression that they have had their best times if they start to release things like NORTHER or VIRTUOCITY? No one needs a second band of this “guitar-neck up-and-down”-guys, so please stop releasing things like this and entitling it “Furious Death / Black”!!! Recommended only for CHILDREN OF BODOM-fans, I didn’t say this yet, huh? The CD includes a boring videoclip of the 3rd song ‘Released’… www.norther.net
