REABILITATOR’s debut album "Global Degeneration" was released back in 2012 by the band. Metal Archives states a total of 30 copies. Luckily the album was picked up by Symbol Of Domination Records, Murdher Records and Metalrace for a proper CD re-issue. Their brand of frantic Thrash Metal has all those usual influences: KREATOR, EXODUS and recently HATCHET and VIOLATOR, but with a twist of their own. "Global Degeneration" is one catchy album with the right attitude. I think that is the aspect that I liked the most. Some of the lyrics are really good. Songs such as ‘Mechanical Devastation’, ‘New World Order’ and ‘Self-Extinction Of Mankind’ address today’s social and global problems in a pretty good way. On the other hand, I am a little fed up on these "thrash or die" lyrics like in the songs ‘N.W.O.T. Maniax’ and ‘Wall Of Death’. I guess the last one should be self explanatory. But that is a minor (and personal) detail that does not take from enjoying the album. Production wise, the album comes across like it is supposed to do. A crisp guitar sound, chain gang choruses, punchy drums and outstanding manic vocals. Also, there is a great clunky bass tone; one of the best ones I’ve heard since Greg Christian’s bass tone in TESTAMENT’s "Souls Of Black". The mix is well rounded and clear, with a lot of dynamics that help shape their sound a lot. REABILITATOR’s strength relies on their plethora of memorable riffs, vocals and a really enjoyable album overall. You can contact the band via www.reabilitator.ru or www.facebook.com/reabilitator.
