RIGORISM comes from Russia. They were formed in 1996 – and they have got 3 albums out thus far. Currently the band is on hold, and let me say this they can gladly continue for being on hold. The band’s 3rd and last recording so far, "The Source Of Suffering", is unfortunately a bad attempt at making convincing, bones breaking and flesh-hurting Death Metal. This is Death Metal done with programmed drums, absolutely horrific and the worst kind of cookie-monster grunts – and unfortunately without any sense for truly hitting song arrangements. A few, occasional okay-ish Death Metal riffs here and here don’t safe this slab from sinking into the pitch-black oblivion. Call this whatever you want but I can only smell a total failure here.
