Founded in 2006 as PROFANATOR this Peruvian Death Metal band started to play covers of such bands as DEATH and MALEVOLENT CREATION. After changing their moniker to ROTTEN EVISCERATION this 5-piece outfit collected their influences altogether and wrote their own songs in the vein of CARCASS, early CANNIBAL CORPSE or TRAUMATIC (to name a few). In June 2011 they released their first official demotape called "Raped And Headless" which not only convinces with song titles as the title track, ‘Holy Butchery’ or a song title which would be most suitable to have on a Lady Gaga record: ‘Baptized In Semen’. Always obvious are the mentioned influences, e. g. the guitar lines in the beginning of ‘Baptized In Semen’ which have this CANNIBAL CORPSE way of tapping. The gory aspect on the lyrical topics can’t be taken too serious, on the other hand quite fun to have them in this way and the guys (calling themselves Nekrocorpse, Surgeon Mutilator, Cancerbero, Leviathan and Oxidized) don’t seem to care about our opinion anyway. Musically speaking this is a pretty good start for this Death Metal outfit, though it would be too early to have them on the plate with a full-length recording. This tape, nevertheless, is a cool listening experience and therefore I can only recommend the purchase of it if you are a fan of the mentioned bands and would like to support a Death Metal band from Peru.
