Now THIS is Metal. The Ukraine has produced a filthy, down and dirty Black Metal militia that burns the soul with their debut album "Violent Death Abomination". When I listen to Metal, I need something that kicks ass. I demand a swift punch in the teeth (metaphorically of course). I want all the goodness in my being to be ripped out and replaced with a rotten, black heart. SATAN’S WAR MACHINE knows how to do just that. Hegal (vocals), Herne (guitar), Nebiros (bass) and Dasha Chernishova (drums) are a power to be reckoned with. Their form of Black Metal fury delivers. The opening track ‘I Despise’ begins with blistering guitars and machine-gun drums with vocals from the pits of hell screaming throughout. ‘Pure Evil’ doesn’t let up with its intensity, kicking us when we’re down… stomping on our back when we attempt to stand. This isn’t your daddy’s Metal, my friends. The third track ‘Torn Flesh’ throws us a sweltering malignance to cause all brains in the vicinity to hemorrhage profusely. ‘Insanity’ is a mosher’s wet dream. SATAN’S WAR MACHINE’s aggressiveness doesn’t allow us to catch our breath. Track to track to track, it’s pure Metal chaos. ‘Firestorm’ and ‘On A Pile Of Bones’ give us more of the same crushing blackness with no compromises. Just when you think the band slows it down a little, the crawl becomes a bloodthirsty incubus ready to have its way with you then trample on your skull. ‘Infernum Manifesto’ is a thrashy blackened track that steamrolls from beginning to end. And to end the album… a cover of KOHLD’s ‘Hundre Ar Gammal’, a pure Metal track to wrap it all up. Do yourself a favor and pick up "Violent Death Abomination". Show some appreciation for a band truly keeping the faith for non-stop hell-wrenching Black Metal For more information, check out www.facebook.com/satans-war-machine-364957826943092, www.satanath.com/sodp
